The Yilan County Government announced today that the 2026 Yilan Green Expo will be held from March 28 to May 10 in Wulaokeng Scenic Area, Su'ao. The park features 18 sustainability exhibition areas and 19 fun and fitness facilities, inviting the public to visit Yilan in the spring.
The county government issued a press release stating that this year's Green Expo is themed "Treasures of Science," symbolizing the study and investigation of the truths of all things, thereby obtaining a precious treasure of knowledge. In the face of disordered climate, it calls on everyone to work together to restore the earth, protect species, and cherish the ocean, turning goodwill into action and joining hands to move towards a livable and prosperous inclusive future.
The county government pointed out that this year's Green Expo Park has planned 18 sustainable exhibition areas, providing immersive and interactive experiences. Themes include ocean exploration, atmospheric operation principles, energy play, net-zero transformation, cultural roots, edible landscapes, flower language art, potted greenery, and sustainable agriculture, allowing visitors to explore the possibility of harmonious coexistence between human civilization and the energy environment.
In addition, the park features 19 fun and physical activities, including a human gyroscope, a dream net, a double-rope swing, and a space ring, offering water and land-based game experiences. Ticket prices are as follows: NT$100 for Yilan County residents, NT$100 for school/adult education students, NT$150 for weekdays, and NT$250 for weekends/holidays.
